What is the Platform?
The Proud Ambassadors Support Forum is an online peer-support platform hosted on Discord, developed as part of the European project “Proud Ambassadors – Support of the Inclusion and Reporting of LGBTQIA+ Youth and their Mental Well-being in Europe.” The forum provides a safe, moderated, and inclusive space where users can connect with others, exchange experiences, ask questions, receive peer guidance, and access useful resources related to LGBTQIA+ inclusion and mental well-being.

Steps to Join the Platform
Step 1: Create a Discord Account (if you don’t have one already)
Users need to create a Discord account (or log in to an existing one) and choose an appropriate username that is respectful and non-offensive
Step 2: Read the User Guide
Participants must read the User Guide carefully before attempting to join the Discord server. The User Guide contains all relevant terms of reference, rules of participation and safety notices, that the participants will be requested to accept when entering the platform.
Step 3: Proceed with Joining the Forum
After reading the User Guide, participants can click on “Request to Join” and login to the server, where they are first requested to complete a short survey, regarding their role into the platform and their acceptance of the Terms of Participation.
Step 4: Read the Welcome Information
Upon joining the server, members are asked to review the welcome message, as well as once again the participation rules, and privacy and safety information before engaging in discussions.
